My son loves these toys, they are creative, insightful and challenging to create various fighting scenarios. These toys add an exra dimension from most card playing games since there is the physical battle that takes place (rolling the bakugan, finding the bakugans strengths and weaknesses via the card, etc.) I recommend purchasing the arena after your child has several bugugans. My 8 year old son and 10 year old daughter are hooked on these toys! We got some on vacation and they played with them constantly! My daughter has not been on Webkinz in a week! Neat collectable toys and they enjoy making up their own games and races with them. Too hard for them to play the gamecard/games designed for the toy though. Toy durable in spite of being thrown on hard surfaces from time to time. Very hard to find in stores in Chicago area though! more detail
